Dr. Cheung is board-certified in audiology and has provided care as an audiologist for more than 10 years, developing a significant depth of background in vestibular audiology, hearing amplification, electrophysiology, intra-operative monitoring, tinnitus treatment, and diagnostic audiology. His clinical interests are auditory processing disorder and multidisciplinary approach for children with multiple disorders. Dr. Cheung’s current research interest is facioscapulohumeral muscular dystrophy (FSHD) and hearing loss. Apart from providing clinical services, Dr. Cheung was an affiliate clinical supervisor for University of Kansas and Kansas State University. Currently, he serves as a guest lecturer in the Gallaudet Department of Hearing, Speech and Language Sciences.

PatriciaCraunPatricia Craun, Au.D.

Dr. Craun joined the Children’s National Audiology team in 2006. She is a valuable member of the Cochlear Implant team.  Dr. Craun provides support to our patients in English, as well as Spanish and American Sign Language. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology (AAA) and is a member of the American Cochlear Implant Alliance.

B.S. in Communication Sciences and Disorders, with a minor in Spanish, from Towson University

Dr. Craun enjoys traveling with her family and hopes to one day to visit the Grand Canyon.

 


 

NatalieFeleppelleNatalie Feleppelle, Au.D.

Dr. Feleppelle specializes in pediatric audiology and is the Sedated ABR Program Coordinator at Children’s National. Her clinical interests include auditory electrophysiology, hyperacusis and other types of abnormal auditory perception, and unilateral hearing loss. Her research interests include the study of multimodal speech perception, newborn hearing screening, and unilateral hearing loss. Dr. Feleppelle also enjoys clinical education and mentoring students. Her experience includes Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, OH; the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, Philadelphia, PA; the Hearing Resource Center of San Mateo/ PAMF Mills Peninsula Medical Center and Hospital, Burlingame & San Mateo, CA; and the John Tracy Clinic, Los Angeles, CA. She completed her residency through the Pediatric Residency Program at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, OH.

ColbyGlidewellColby Glidewell, Au.D.

Dr. Glidewell is a pediatric audiologist specializing in pediatric amplification and diagnostic evaluations. She is a member of the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA) and the American Academy of Audiology (AAA).

ManjuKakuManju Kaku, Au.D., CCC-A FAAA

Dr. Kaku has been working in the Hearing and Speech department as an audiologist since 1990. In her years of experience as an audiologist, she have seen an enormous positive change in our field. We have made great strides not only in technology, but also in the way hearing loss is perceived.  Dr. Kaku absolutely loves working with the pediatric population and being part of their lives as they grow up, and face and conquer challenges. She also enjoys mentoring students  and learning from them.

Dr. Peredo is an audiologist specializing in diagnosis and treatment of hearing loss in infants and children.

B.A. in Speech and Hearing Science from The George Washington University, with a minor in Fine Arts and Psychology

Dr. Peredo has a passion for arts and in her spare time, enjoys painting and drawing.

 


 

JaclynRozmarynJaclyn Rozmaryn, Au.D.

Dr. Rozmaryn began working as an Audiology Assistant at the Treatment and Learning Center’s Family Hearing Center.  During her time  at Howard University, she interned at Veteran’s Hospital, Hospital for Sick Children, and TLC’s Family Hearing Center. In addition to working at Children’s National, she continues to work part time at the Family Hearing Center, seeing both children and adults for diagnostic evaluations and hearing aid fittings. Working at Children’s National allows her the ability to focus on the pediatric population—to assess and treat their hearing health care and rehabilitative needs.

Bachelor’s degree in Hearing and Speech Sciences from University of Maryland
Master’s degree from Howard University.
